CNI journey
CNI is the apex body of the large and medium scale industrial community of Nepal and has a membership base consisting of nearly all of the big corporate houses of Nepal, blue-chip companies, JVCs, etc., spread across a wide and diversified spectrum of businesses.
Vishnu Kumar Agrawal took charge as the new president of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in July 2021, selected by the 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM). Under his leadership, CNI established 33 different Committees/Forums/Councils, each responsible for an important theme relating to industries.
CNI is a representative of large and medium scale industrial community of Nepal who works in partnership with Government of Nepal, Ministries, Non-profit organizations and Development Partners to create private sector led, industrial friendly business environment in the country.
Since its inception, CNI has been actively promoting growth of Nepalese economy, industrialization, entrepreneurship and role of private partnership in economic development.
